I OWN THIS NEW RUG!......................................by Diane Ogden

One of my clients gave me this beautiful hand woven runner.  I brought it home all folded up and tossed it on the "Great Room" floor.  The Great Room is basically where I live besides the bedroom off the Great Room.  That is a joke in case you didn't know it. 
I was busy checking my emails and such after my days work when I noticed Bob had placed his paw on the rug all heaped up in a pile, as to say, "Don't touch, I have claimed ownership."   That paw of ownership is intended for Gracie Allen dog and Lucy Lou cat.   And he means business.  Well probably not really. 
So it is two days later now.  I had to leave the blog due to work and my other computer deciding not to upload photos to blogger.  And my point is?  Bob is still guarding the runner.  Maybe animals like something new on occasion also.

Dressing Bob??..........................by Diane Ogden

You might say, "So how's that workin out for you trying to dress Bob?"  
I would say notsogood because I knew better then to literally try to dress him.
You see I was folding clothes for my Granddaughter.  I had several neat stacks of
various clothes.  For instance Bob was laying on all the little summer tops when I found one more with no place to put.  So I put it on top of him who was on top of the tops.  Get it?

My neighbor happened to pop over to ask me how I liked her new hair color.  She decided to continue "top dressing" Bob Benjamin Morrison Ogden.  To my shock and surprise he allowed it. 
Wow I am going to try hats next.  Who hoo!  Wonder who will win that round. 

For now I am happy with "top dressing" the boy. 

 

 

And then I think Bob said to me with that face and those piercing eyes..................

"Okay so you finally got to me!  Enough with the Oshkosh by Gosh pink pin striped bib overhaul dress, okay?  That buckle got me right in the nose.
I let you and your little friend mess with me long enough. I am outta here."

And then he was just that.

Okay so Bob stole Gracie Allen's bed.  Look at him!  He has the devious face on, along with the guard cat face.  He is not about to give up his new found kingship.  He definitely tries to rule the roost around here.  And he does.  The hierarchy has been set up and maintained.  I do watch over the other two so Bob doesn't think his britches (?) are bigger than the rest...    Not always an easy task. 

As you can see he feels safe now!  Snoozing away until Mom takes Gracie's bed away....
